The undead CryptoPunk #8531 that Punks OTC had been holding on July 14 was sold to metaversalvault.eth for 550 ETH, which is worth more than $1.06 million, according to a tweet from NFTstats.eth.
Since July 31, 2021, when a Zombie Punk was advertised for 450 ETH, that is the lowest sale price.
According to earlier reports, PunksOTC, a long-time owner of CryptoPunks and a reputable NFT dealer, purchased all 16 of them from Casuallyrekt.eth (also known as BeanieMaxi) for a total of 1785 ETH, or around $3.391 million. One of the punks is a zombie, and five of the punks have the hoodie attribute.
Punks OTC changed its Twitter alias to CryptoPunk #8531 following the transaction.
This Punk, a three-attribute zombie Punk, is ranked 105th out of the entire collection in terms of rarity according to Rarity Instruments data.
