Renz Chong, the CEO of NFT firm BreederDAO, explained in a recent TechWire interview why he thinks AI technologies like Midjourney have the ability to fundamentally alter the creative process in metaverse projects. Chong responded that AI was successfully changing the world in two ways when asked how it was enhancing the creative process for those looking to create intriguing characters and settings within the metaverse.
According to Chong, the main strategy was how AI enables almost everyone to become a creative. Fans can now create characters, digital property, in-game objects, avatars, and even video games, even if they lack much training or technical knowledge.
The second aspect was how AI was accelerating the process of creating content. The preliminary layer may now be created using tools like Midjourney, according to Chong, who elaborated on this level. “Sport designers who used to spend so much time creating mockups and demos.”
Chong noted that AI might close the gap between 2D and 3D art, opening up new possibilities. AI Skins, a no-code tool created by Chong’s own company, instantly converts 2D prints into 3D NFTs.
Chong demonstrated many aspects of how AI-powered NPCs enhance gaming by creating more individualised experiences. According to the CEO, “These NPCs can remember specifics about players and have tailored conversations, creating a sense of individuality that taps into the same motivations that appeal to people who read horoscopes.”
According to the company website, Chong’s company Breeder DAO is well-positioned to improve the distribution of in-game property by using highly customised, programmed asset-generation methodologies to meet the growing need for play-to-earn game economies. BreederDAO is now working to incorporate AI tools into the metaverse, allowing creators to quickly create unique worlds and characters.
