Open Sourcing of Three Technologies Under an Apache2 Licence Announced by Risc Zero

Risc Zero, a provider of zero-proof software, has declared that it will release three technologies—High-Speed Recursion, Proof Composition, and STARK-to-SNARK Wrapper—under the Apache2 licence. A $12 million seed fundraising round headed by Bain Capital Crypto, which also included participation from Geometry, D1 Ventures, Cota Capital, co-founder and CEO of Optimism Jinglan Wang, and chief strategy officer of CoinShares Meltem Demirors, was completed by RISC Zero in August 2022. A $40 million Series A fundraising round led by Blockchain Capital, which included participation from Galaxy Digital, IOSG Ventures, RockawayX, Maven 11, Fenbushi Capital, and Delphi Digital, was concluded by RISC Zero in July 2023.
