A draught approach to overcome dust restrictions has been made public by the ARC20 project Atomicals. The idea is to redefine the number of satoshis needed to sustain one unit of ARC20 tokens by creating a Substantiation Factor (SF). Token transfers containing fewer than 546 units need that any precision be attainable, with the default proof coefficient being set at 1:1.
According to Foresight News, the Bitcoin network places a 546 satoshi threshold on each UTXO transactions in order to guard against dust attacks. The ARC20 minimum transfer limit has been set at 546 units as a result.
