Mercury, a cryptocurrency (digital asset) investment firm, and ConsenSys, a web3 firm, have announced an integration within MetaMask. This allows MetaMask users to avoid mainstream exchanges and buy crypto tokens directly from their wallets using bank cards, Apple Pay, and other financial institution transfer methods. Due to quick checkouts and simplified consumer onboarding, the combination aims to simplify the purchase of a digital property.
The partnership, which was impressed primarily by customers with little experience in cryptocurrency, would also benefit those looking for a quick and easy way to replenish their portfolio. As a result, MetaMask customers can purchase standard tokens and cash in various fiat currencies.
“Collaborations with market leaders like MetaMask are an exciting opportunity for Mercury to assist extra people in experiencing cryptocurrencies in the best way possible,” says Petr Kozyakov, CEO of Mercuryo. Customers can manage their digital assets on a single platform rather than opening another new account at one of many exchanges. We always put customers and their comfort first when improving enterprise services with our products.”
Purchasing crypto tokens can be time-consuming, requiring ID verification and clearing banking details. Mercuryo’s product simplifies the process by allowing MetaMask customers to buy up to €699 in cryptocurrency in 5 simple steps without requiring complete identification verification.
Customers must log in to the app, tap “Purchase,” and select a payment method to purchase cryptocurrency with MetaMask. They must enter the required quantity and token, evaluate quotes, and choose one from Mercuryo. The transaction is completed by clicking on the link to the Mercuryo website.
Democratizing the decentralized internet

“Our integration with Mercuryo helps streamline onboarding & purchasing digital property, including the option to buy as much as €699 in crypto without complicated id verification,” said Lorenzo Santos, meta mask’s product manager. “This enables our customers to discover the Web3 ecosystem, including NFT marketplaces, play-and-earn video games, decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), decentralized finance (DeFi) functions, and metaverse worlds,” says the company.
