AppsFlyer, a business that has offered comparable services for Web2 mobile gaming since 2011, has teamed with Spindl, an attribution and analytics platform aimed at enhancing marketing for Web3 games. Two years ago, Spindl was established with the intention of developing a Web3-native platform that would serve as the cornerstone for the marketing plans of blockchain-based games. But most Web3 games have difficultly integrating on-chain and off-chain components, which calls for the features provided by AppsFlyer.
In order to allow developers to trace user journeys that span Web2 events like clicks and app installs as well as Web3 events like NFT mints, the two businesses will integrate their data sets. According to Antonio García Martínez, the founder of Spindl, the collaboration shows that Web2 and Web3 gaming are becoming more similar. He pointed out that the lack of thorough data on user behaviours and on-chain revenue in the current Web3 gaming dashboards results in an incomplete picture and erroneous metrics like lifetime value. The collaboration seeks to resolve these problems and improve Web3 game marketing statistics.
