In response to Sam Altman’s AI genius Worldcoin’s introduction, Buterin emphasised the importance of a strong proof-of-personhood mechanism to assist people in establishing their identities.

Despite his concerns, he praised Farcaster and Lens Protocol, two decentralized social media networks built using Ethereum sign-in possibilities, and expressed hope for their future development.
