In September, Fhenix revealed that it was ‘introducing FHE Rollups to increase privacy on Ethereum and similar networks.’ The company had previously announced a $7 million funding campaign to construct a ‘confidential blockchain’ backed by fully homomorphic encryption (FHE). These rollups make it possible for developers to create private applications and safe on-chain transactions, all while maintaining compatibility with Ethereum. Guy Zyskind, the founder of Fhenix, said that the company wants to be the encrypted rollup stack that network builders can use to build their own networks without developers having to understand the intricate encryption and math involved.
In other news, bloXroute, a DeFi performance provider, and DLN, a cross-chain trading infrastructure built on deBridge, have forged a strategic alliance to provide MEV searchers, institutional DeFi traders, and projects with quick intents-based cross-chain value exchange. Users and integrating dApps will be able to use the bloXroute API for the fastest cross-chain interactions possible thanks to the collaboration between DLN’s high-performance infrastructure and bloXroute’s quick transaction-propagation capabilities.
In addition, Factor and Gnosis Chain organized a strategic funding round that was closed by Kinetex Network, a decentralized platform for cross-chain trading. The money will be utilized to improve Kinetex’s trading strategy for moving liquidity between networks and expand upon Gnosis Chain, a community-led EVM layer 1. Early in the upcoming year, Kinetex intends to introduce its public testnet on Gnosis Chain. The test phase will span three months and be dedicated to finding issues and improving the user experience.
