Co-founder of Ethereum layer 2 Polygon Jaynti Kanani has declared that he would no longer be involved in running the network on a daily basis. On Wednesday, Kanani, who co-founded Polygon with Sandeep Nailwal and Anurag Arjun in 2017, shared his ambitions in a post on X (formerly Twitter). He said that while continuing to support and contribute to Polygon from the sidelines, he would be concentrating on new adventures.
Co-founder of Polygon Sandeep Nailwal commented on the article, expressing his feelings and hoping they could have collaborated on the project for more time. He also emphasised how crucial it is to keep moving Polygon forward. The network’s creator, Polygon Labs, witnessed a change in top management in July when chief legal officer Marc Boiron was elevated to CEO and president Ryan Wyatt resigned to take on an advising position.
The native token of the network, MATIC, is unaffected by the news and has maintained its price range of $0.55 to $0.58 since the beginning of the month. Its price is $0.58 as of this writing, up 3.5% over the previous day.
