The Keep Network and NuCypher are collaborating on a first-of-its-kind “KEANU” network upgrade combining two protocols. Both networks will upgrade on-chains in a decentralized fashion. Several months of collaboration culminated in a majority vote in favor of the snapshot on Friday. Noteworthy is that Keep Network’s official announcement noted the collaboration is moving forward with nearly 93% of their stakeholder votes supporting the initiative. The measures were also backed by about 78% of staked KEEP holders.
KEANU received disappointment over a number of proposals from the community
Follow the KEANU discussion closely, and it becomes obvious that it took place through Medium posts, YouTube videos, open calls, memes, and spirited discussions on Keep Network’s Discord platform. The community proposals for the network upgrade also come from both members of the community. As it happens, the RC0 proposal is the final proposal for which the snapshot vote has been successfully conducted.

KEEP and NUCYPER Communities
It seems both of these projects have a large community based on recent snapshot votes. Nearly everything that happens in the crypto industry is a result of speculation and the pursuit of wealth, according to the team behind the Keep Network. But the community has achieved something like this over the past two months that’s truly unprecedented. Consequently, the measure created a decentralized bridge between blockchain networks and a powerhouse platform for threshold cryptocurrencies.
By collaborating with NuCypher, more new services will be offered with more fees for validators. In order to upgrade KEANU, both Keep and NuCypher protocols, as well as staking networks, must be combined. By aligning their efforts, both communities have been able to take advantage of an aspect of the marketplace that is unique.
KEEP’s Trajectory
As a result of the recent voting results, Keep Network is beginning to push forward on its roadmap. TBTC v2 is used in harmony with the merge, providing a seamless user experience with enhanced scalability. It is also possible to expect that the KEANU DAO community will evolve into a new form of TBTC v2 in the future. In fact, both NuCypher and Keep Network are on course to achieve the next significant milestone on their roadmaps.
About Nucypher
‘NuCypher’ is a decentralized encryption service for public blockchains that combines access control with key management. Data can be shared in an encrypted way on public blockchains and decentralized storage solutions provided by NuCypher.
NuCypher uses proxy re-encryption (PRE) technology to allow users to share private data among members of public consensus networks. By decrypting the data, NuCypher supposedly makes itself safer and more protected than traditional blockchain projects based on public keys.
In the larger NuCypher network, NU tokens are used as native tokens. By rewarding network participants with tokens they are rewarded for performing key management services and accessing delegation/revocation services.
