The ConsenSys Layer2 network Linea has enabled the SocialFi app Tomo, which is now downloadable from the App Store and Google Play. By including a wallet within the app, Tomo enables users to instantly move between Linea and Ethereum utilising a robotic cross-chain bridge. Tomo also allows users to sign up using X, Gmail, or Apple. Users can vote to convey their expectations before creators join Tomo. Votes can be bought by users and converted into Keys once a creator joins if they haven’t already.
Tomo charges a 10% fee for each transaction, regardless of whether it involves votes or keys. 5% of the exchanged votes go to the platform, and 5% are set aside for the inventor, who can claim it after registering. The platform cost will be given to the voters if the creator does not sign up within six months after the first purchase. Holders of votes can enter exclusive group discussions to plan creator recruitment techniques. When buying or selling Keys, 5% goes to the platform and 5% goes to the creator.
