Rain, a controlled bitcoin exchange in Bahrain, was hacked. The exchange is essentially a user-friendly link that adheres to Islamic finance fundamentals. Rain offers trading pairings for numerous cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and many others. It addresses the country’s acute need for digital assets.
According to ZachXBT, a well-known crypto investigator, on May 13th, a hacker stole about $14.1 million in cryptocurrency assets including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and XRP, among others. The Rain cryptocurrency exchange suffered losses.
According to the investigation’s findings, the hackers were able to transfer the siphoned-off Ethereum (ETH) coin via the UniSwap crypto exchange immediately following the crime. Rain crypto exchange first remained silent on the topic until it was public.
On May 14th, the business revealed the entire story. They remained firm in their belief that the problem had been resolved. They further stated that their consumers were in 100% secure hands. It is unclear how the hackers achieved their objectives.
