As Daniel, the head of the Solana Foundation’s Mandarin Chinese Market (MCM), explained during the ‘Foresight 2024: Web3 Surfers’ New Year’s Speech’ event, Solana’s objective has always been to develop a scalable, high-performance public chain. In his opinion, Solana has successfully struck a decent balance between cost, performance, and usefulness. “Solana is one of the first and most invested projects in hackathons among all public chains,” according to Daniel, who also announced intentions to hold a new international hackathon event in March or April of the following year.
Daniel added that the Solana Foundation has made a commitment to lowering barriers to entry for developers looking to join the Solana ecosystem. To enable developers better integrate into the Solana ecosystem, the foundation will work with several developer communities to launch matching courses in the first quarter of 2024. He thinks that Solana’s recovery depends heavily on core developers. The Solana Foundation also intends to collaborate with additional incubators in order to assist with the later phases of project development in the upcoming year. Additionally, the foundation supports projects connected to AI+Solana and AI+Web3 through a $10 million fund specifically dedicated to AI.
