The Central Bank of the UAE published recent guidance on anti-cash laundering (AML) and countering the financing of terrorism (CFT) measures specifically created for cryptocurrency businesses.
The recently released guidance, which is in line with the recommendations made by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), addresses the possible risks associated with taking part in transactions using digital assets and digital asset service providers (VASPs). These new regulations will likely start to be followed in a month.
