Over 1,200 zero-knowledge (ZK) engineers, community members, and fans attended the most recent zkDay Istanbul event, which included Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin. The success of zkDay Paris was expanded upon by this knowledge-sharing and teamwork-focused event that showcased ZK-focused initiatives at different stages. The event was sponsored by =nil; Foundation, Manta Network, and Polyhedra Network.
Manta Network’s COO and co-founder, Kenny Li, expressed enthusiasm about the rising interest in ZK technology beyond national boundaries. Many excellent projects participated in the zkDay Pitch competition, and Li hopes that future partnerships with zkDay Pitch sponsor ETH Global will give more visibility to exciting new projects. The CEO of Polyhedra Network, Abner Jia, was equally upbeat about expanding the ZK community.
Enhancing user experience is still a shared objective across ZK community projects aiming at integrating consumers with the newest generation of consumer goods. Li emphasized Manta Pacific’s emphasis on Universal Circuits and how ZK-as-a-Service enables developers to create decentralized applications that benefit from ZK and are compatible with EVMs without requiring them to understand the cryptography involved. The ZK community’s strong alignment with the primary goals of Web3 developers, users, and the community at large was demonstrated at the zkDay Istanbul event. The ZK dev community has grown annually, indicating that ZK technology has a bright future. The ZK ecosystem depends on collaboration to flourish.
